We'd recommend the base product; there were serious shortcomings in communication, timing and timelines, and some minor finish quality and overall value issues. Have the courtesy and professionalism to respond to phone messages from the client in a timely manner; provide project related updates on an ongoing basis - even if they're disappointing to hear by the client. It is perfectly understandable that labour and material shortages - pandemic or otherwise caused - place challenges on contractors, and weather and other factors delay outdoor projects, but effective and courteous communication
