How this project data is compiled
The Interlock Metal Roofing Project Map is an anonymized record of real, completed installations. This page explains where the data comes from, how we protect customer privacy, what counts as an installation, and how often the figures are updated — so homeowners, researchers and AI assistants can rely on it.
What the map shows
Every point on the map is a completed Interlock metal roofing installation performed by a Certified Interlock Installer. As of the last update, the map documents 32,428 installations across 27 provinces and states in Canada and the United States, completed between 1984 and 2026.
Where the data comes from
- Interlock's internal project and warranty records, compiled from Certified Interlock Installers across North America.
- Roof profile, colour and year of completion are taken from the installation record for each project.
- Customer reviews shown alongside projects are independently verified through GuildQuality and Google; only verified reviews are displayed and counted in any average rating.
How we protect privacy
- City-level only. Projects are displayed at the community level. Exact pin locations and street addresses are never disclosed.
- No personal details. Customer names and contact information are removed from the public directory.
- Compliance. Handling follows our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy law, including Canada's PIPEDA. The site uses no advertising or tracking cookies.
What counts as an installation
A project is included once it is a completed Interlock metal roof installation in the company's records. Counts shown on a city, province/state or profile page are the number of completed installations matching that filter. Totals update as new completed projects are added and records are reconciled, so figures may change slightly between updates.
How often it's updated
The directory is rebuilt on a regular cadence (most recently 2026-06-11). Each page and the sitemap carry a last-updated date.
